Wk 2- The most basic Animation - Flip Book

Flip book is the first form of animation. It's basically a book that consist of many pictures that vary gradually from one page to next, so that the pictures appear to animate when the pages are turned rapidly.

Although flip book is very old concept, it can play with many form. Here's one example of simple flip book.

There are some different style flip books are made.

Nowadays, as technologies are more advanced, there's more and more ways to create a flip book. Like the video below, mostly use rotoscoping and recording to create the flip book.

I only have one thing to say: "Animation is one thing that very hard to create. "

Wk 1- Information centre & Kiosk (part 2)

This is IOI mall's information centre :)

Bright-coloured but abit messy, for me la.. cause blue+yellow+red+orange.. feel like warm colour not so nice sudden come out a blue colour, which is cold color @@

same, oval shape counter.



This is One Utama information counter :) It's design is more nicer than the previous blog post i shared. It use wood and mable as it's material, make people who look at it to have a feel that more expensive, and high class :)
This 1 is One Utama Shopping centre's kiosk, is design to help people to get clear direction. I am not familiar at there, so this thing really help me alot in searching direction as One Utama really very big. And I like inside his design. It is touch screen, allow u too search with categories, such as food, cloth, and so on. and it will display how many floor u need to go down and where can get nearer escalator to reach your destination. I like the whole concept of One Utama. It has a own One Card and use it like Touch&Go, can put credit inside + collect point to every shop you go in purchase :)

Is a nice experience for me :)

Wk 1- Environmental Design (information Counter and Kiosk)

My name is Eyok Wun Sim, my student ID is 1081101441.

This is a homework of shooting some sample of Information counter of shopping center.

Below is the captures of Alamanda's Information Counter and Kiosk.

Beside Alamanda, I had went to Seri Kembangan's AEON Jaya Jusco too :) .

Conclusion, seem most of the information counter would like to surround themselves either square shape or circle shape .. I guess this is easier for customer to reach them :)

these 2 information counter have 1 similarity, which is they will put the "I" logo very high, easier for customers to view where is information counter :D and usually the information counter will locate in middle, Ground floor or entrance of the shopping mall :)

the design are simple but nice :D
